I've really got a thing for Com Bloc pistols. Com Bloc meaning communist bloc aka eastern european. Most orginated in Russia and the surrounding countries such as Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Poland, etc all inherited their desings. Hence all of the AK47 variants. Same applies for pistols. The most famous being the Makarov and Tokarev family of pistols. I had a Russian commercial hicap mag at one time but traded it for another gun. I always wanted the Czech variant the CZ-82. Many view the CZ-82 as the best Makarov variant because of its amazing trigger and polygonial rifling. Though not a true Mak, still regarded as the best option and a steal of a deal at around $200. Their is alot of aftermarket support for these guns especially when it comes to grips.

The Yugo M57 is the most desired of the Tokarev variants due to it's longer grip and 9 round capacity. Shooting the 7.62x25 round the Tokarev packs a TON of punch. 7.62x25 ballistics are very similar to .357 magnum but at a fraction of the cost to shoot. Surplus ammo can be as cheap as 6 cents a round! Not to mention the body armor piercing capabilty of this round. Also around $200 the M57 makes a great range toy, slash camping/trail gun. I'm sure it could take down most animals I would come across. Marschal also makes so sweet grips for the Tokarev.
There also a compensator made that makes the Tokarev look evens more cool and helps reduce muzzle flip. Guns are on the way after selling my .357 mag revolver. Grips and compensator to come in the very near future!
